About Our Charity
Stanwell Events is a registered charity (No. 1187357) based at Long Lane Recreational Ground, Stanwell, TW19 7ER.

Multicultural day 2026
On the 1st July we are hosted the A2 Get Matched live project where local projects , Charity’s and partners can pitch to secure funds to help them deliver projects in the community. We are proud to not only to offer the space but support with feeding those joining us on the day.

Community Fund
In 2024 Stanwell Events secured a grant through the National lottery community fund to support core costs and projects following our redevelopment.This 3 year grant plays a vital role in developing the projects as we returned to the community building.

Your Fund Surrey and Community Ownership Fund
Thanks to YourFund sorry and the community ownership funds we secured over 1,100,000 to redevelop and refurbished the community building which started in 2024 and enabled us to reopen the building in 2025 enabling us to support the community and expand on our services for future generations to come

Anna-Marie Goodacre
Founder and CEO
from a social media post saying there is nothing to do in Stanwell our charity has grown. Anna-Marie is a mum of 3 and supporting her community plays a vital role in guiding her children to know about what a community is and is her inspiration.

Ian Millin
Chair of trustees
Ian has worked hard since retiring to support the community ensuring over 1 million in grants for various projects to support our community continues to be a inspiration and supports our community

Victoria Goodacre
Team Member
Victoria is very much the arty one of the charity and works hard to create our various younger people projects are fun and engaging. you will find her at our holiday projects from Haf4 to community events.

Linda Millin
Trusttee
Linda has been the glue too securing grants supporting our charity and the day to day projects. Linda is a mum to 2 boys and has grown up in Stanwell and volunteered for various projects. Linda is often found creating food parcels .

Carley Egan
Trustee
Carey is the one behind our artwork and often is seen adapting the designs the founder makes as she has an eagle eye. As a business woman she is eager to support the community and continues to support whilst working and raising her two girls.

Lucy Watson
Trustee and Youth Lead
Lucy joined the team to help us support our young people in the community with a background of youth work. Lucy continues to work for our youth and be a voice for them supporting them weekly with our outreach work at working with them at the Stanwell youth Centre where we help support our young people to express themselves and have a support.

Carlo Pyres
Trustee
Carlo joined the team as a parent of 3 he continues to offer support and guidance on the various projects we host. He and his wife Tracey are always on hand for the community events and we are very lucky that Tracey supports with our first aid training .

it would be extremely rude to just mention Darrell without mentioning Ty so as a duo team you have our kitchen team here Head Chef Darrell and our apprentice Tyee who oversee all our operations for the kitchen to help with not only the community café to teaching our vulnerable adults how to cook and working with our young people to learn cooking skills
